The Solric Restaurant celebrates the first anniversary since the change of ownership with a party with friends, customers and representatives of society Tarraconense

The historic establishment of Tarragona has been reinvented in the last twelve months, with new facilities, events and the opening of a second location

The Restaurant Solric de Tarragona, one of the historic establishments of the city of Tarragona, celebrated last Thursday 20 the first anniversary since its change of ownership and the start of a new and exciting stage in its long history. The date was the opportunity to celebrate with friends, clients and representatives of the civil and business community of Tarragona with a huge party in the restaurant's facilities, an old 18th century country house located on the outskirts of the city.

Some 120 people among friends, customers, suppliers, entrepreneurs, and representatives of the associative and sports world participated in the evening, which was enlivened by a musical duo that created a perfect environment to celebrate and share a time in the best company. The celebration culminated with the two Solric owners, Francisco Ferreres and Víctor Ciscar, blowing the commemorative candle of this first year of management.

With the change of ownership a year ago, Solric Restaurant started a chapter that has been loaded with new features. Fidel at all times to its gastronomic tradition, with more than 60 years of history and focused on Mediterranean cuisine of proximity and quality, the establishment has renewed its menu and has launched new menus to diversify its offer and attract new audiences. The fork breakfasts, the new group menus and the success of the calçotades season are some examples of gastronomic success in these twelve months.

The installations and the animation of the Solric have also been renewed in this new stage. Thus, the old farmhouse where the restaurant is located has undergone a renovation with the addition of new spaces, but maintaining its essence and charm at all times. La Terrassa has also been improved, with the addition of a chill out space and a free children's area for customers.

In addition, the restaurant's agenda has been filled in these twelve months of activity, with the organization of various events, party nights on specific dates or initiatives such as Gastromúsica Saturdays, where dinner and dancing are offered for a very tight price.

This new stage culminated with an important step forward last April with the opening of Alta Taberna Solric, a new establishment of the Solric family located in the Plaza de la Font de Tarragona and specialized in gourmet tapas, a wide variety of wines and fresh seafood.
